Kia Spectra- More detail on the detail with KC

This Kia Spectra was the second ride which was detailed by KC and myself. The first one went well enough and we expected to knock this one out in a couple of hours.... how wrong we were.

Kia Spectra- Headlight Correction

This was the second ride which KC & I detailed for the day. This one really took a lot of effort as we did not expect the condition to require so much correction.

While KC was busy compounding the rest of the car I tackled the headlights.

The existing condition was dull and faded.

Wetsanded with 2000 grit sandpaper. Edge of the hood taped up for compounding.

Sanding marks removed with M105/So1o Burgundy Wool/Rotary. In the rush to complete the Rush (heheheh...) and this Sephia, I forgot to take some closeup afters of the headlights but you can see from this picture that the clarity has been restored.

Was really tired after completing this ride....... told KC not to call me anymore.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH....

Porsche 911 Turbo (930) Martini Special Edition- Update

Bumped into the  Porsche 911 Turbo which I detailed about 4 1/2 months ago:

I had gotten the owner some ONR, microfiber towels and instructions on how to properly take care of the paint.

Managed to take some pictures of the car this morning. Still looks pretty good.

Another Wedding- Same Accord

This time it was called into service again not as a wedding car but as a 'support' vehicle.

I had thought the owner how to properly wash the car and the results still looked pretty good after 2 months.

Charity Detailing Session and Gathering

My good friend and fellow detailing fanatic KC organized a detailing session for some vehicles belonging to an orphanage last Sunday the 17th of January 2010. Invitations were sent out to anyone who wanted to help out for a good cause and also learn more about detailing at the same time.

Don't have a lot of pictures to share with you as we had to get 4 full size vans and one car done in half a day.

Got there early to help setup. hitachi showed up early also.
